We are setup to accommodate couples and single travelers, sorry we are not setup for children or pets.
There are three rooms with Queen beds and own en suites and or two with real King beds with spa en suites.
Rooms are configured for a maximum of two people only.
In the winter the building is gas fire heated, in the summer normal breezes from the sea cool the building. There is a common lounge and dining room these are are located on the ground floor.
We are non smoking in side building but have a covered separate veranda for those that do.
This Blog is intended for guest information about Anchors Aweigh "Private" B&B Narooma. Located on the South Coast of NSW between Sydney and Melbourne, just off the Princes Hwy. We setup to accommodate singles travellers and couples wishing to unwind and relax in a 5 Star Energy and AAA 4.5 Star rated guest house. Enjoy a little personal service with a three course breakfast personally served. We are within walking distance, to most of Narooma’s main features.

Arrival and Departure Times
Early arrival time is 01:00pm and late departure time is 11.00am. We normally close at 10:00pm, if arriving later please advise in advance.
Cancellation Policy
If wishing to cancel your booking with us please advise by either phone or email, no fee is charged.
Cancellations must be advised at least three full days in advance of arrival.

Example :- Ring Monday to cancel booking for Friday.
If under the three day period we will change to another day of your choice, depending on availability. Or if the room is re booked, we will refund monies.
Please note that a refund maybe subject to a 5% credit card charge fee.
We do not charge a fee to change a booked date and the change requested can be via an email or by phone. Changes of booked dates are subject to availability.

On Arrival
On arrival please park in the guest carpark located at the rear of the building, using the side lane. Enter the building using the rear door located just off the carpark.
We will assist you with your baggage to your room and explain the additional features and services that we provide.
All sporting equipment, bikes or other items for storage can be stored in the garage off the carpark.
Motor cycles can be locked in our undercover garage.
The carpark has personal/security night lighting..

Breakfast
Breakfast can be served either on own veranda or in the dining room. If the veranda is wet under foot, cold or windy then we will use the dining room.
Please note we do not serve breakfast in your bed room.
If requiring an earlier than normal eating time, please request on arrival.
The dining room has several different tables and normally the TV is set to the news/weather.

On Sunday a paper is supplied free from the selection and delivered to your door by 07:30am.

The building was built to a 5 star energy efficiency rating with the ground floor being gas fired heated and naturally cooled in the summer.
The rooms face the afternoon sea breeze and all have modern reverse cycle split air systems with fresh air venting.
Optional on request is oil heating and or electric blankets.
